There are two ways of how you can use this product:
Option 1: Take the side grab screws off, place the rail in your scope mount, then while you’re tightening your scope mount it will grab and hold your rifle’s Dovetail Rail.
Option 2: Place the adaptor on your rifle rail, tight the side grab screws so the adaptor will stay on your rifle rail. You can secure the adaptor by grabbing screws from top for rifle with some recoil.

I searched all over for a low profile 11mm dovetail to picatinny adapter without much success. Unlike other adapters that add 3/4″ of height, the picatinny sits right above the dovetail. In addition to the set screws that thread from the top, there are four cap head machine screws that secure the rail from the side. This is a perfect fit for my Rossi RS22! I live in the United States and it only took a week for delivery with excellent communication from the owner.
